Our team went to the place, met the couple, and took some of these below photos. It is really a heart touching story to tell. They are daily wage earners and he is a ceremonial cook. They do not have children and they decided to adopt cats. They are living in an uninhabitable donated house.
Due to Covid-19 outbreak, no ceremonies, and no job. Now, he does not have any income making it difficult to lead life and sustain.
After listening to them, we feel that a onetime payment to them will not solve their problem. We need to give them continuous support until the situation goes back to normal and they start getting their daily bread and butter through their work.
We have decided to pay them Rs.5000/- per month to fulfil their basic need until then. We are looking at Rs.60,000/- to take care of them for one more year. We would be more than happy if any kind hearted person would assist this couple in building them a small habitable hut which will cost Rs.5 Lakh. Our team will personally monitor and take care of the matter.
